Soul Friend

Words escape me,
I can make no sense,
my tongue has turned to cloth,
while my breath is held by your beauty.
And yet,
deep within my soul,
a song arises,
not with words or conscious tune,
a song of felt praise,
a libation
poured from my heart to you.
