Imagination – Word of the Day

You

I got lost today,
not in the usual sense,
but in my mind as
I willingly immersed myself,
and I conjured the most
delightful companion
so complete,
a rare beauty so breathtaking,
and a conversation so deep
and naked as to open the
heart to oneness.
And, as I walked along the way,
at some point I was wakened from
my immersion and
I saw you,
knowing full well in
that moment I had not
imagined you at all.
