Floating

Sometimes, when I’m intense,
at times frustrated,
or even when I’m just distracted,
your laughter is so infectious,
you draw me back,
reeling me in,
stealing my burdens,
setting me free.
And I simply float
like an eagle,
on the warmth of your joy.

  2. Sweet… and it (with a sneaky smile on my face) reminds me a lot of T.S.Eliot’s poem Hysteria. 🙂
