Looking eastward, the sun rises at Elachbutting Rock.
Deeper
Then,
the urgency to hold,
the knowing look.
Escaping long interrogations.
Obligations hidden
as we watched the moon ascend.
We arrested time,
fainted
and marvelled that it was us.
There’s no urgency now,
the seed a flower,
love encircled,
concentric.
our hearts deeply immersed.
