The sunset over Kings Canyon from the campground was fabulous.
The next morning we all decided that we were far from ready to do the 3-4 hr Canyon walk, and opted for the creek line walk instead.
Such rugged beauty to feast the eye and the senses on.
We then set off on the Mereenie Loop, and with end of the bitumen we were back on gravel, and we agreed it was far worse than the Great Central or the Tjukururu Roads before. We went off down a four wheel drive track to see Gosse Bluff. Back on bitumen. Then on to Tyler's Pass lookout and along Namatjira Drive and on to Redbank Gorge campground to camp overnight ahead of a Gorge walk in the morning.
