Maybe I should see a doctor because I’ve often had a few qualms, not sure how to cure them all. And maybe it’s that feeling – the qualm before the storm.
To be serious, for a moment, qualms are very much those gut feelings we need to really pay attention to, and to be mindful of. Qualms for me are gut warnings, the body and mind saying take care here, take time, listen to the inner voice of wisdom. When we have a qualm, we are concerned or worried, so we are being called to attend to ourselves. Is it a fear you need to deal with? Is it a boundary issue? Are you unsure of something? Listen carefully, heed the qualm, your body is trying to get your attention.
